2Checkout Achieves PCI DSS 4.0.1 Compliance as Level 1 Service Provider

About PCI-DSS 4.0.1 Compliance
PCI DSS v4.0.1, released June 11, 2024, is a minor update to v4.0. It introduces no new or removed requirements but clarifies language, corrects errors, and improves consistency. Key clarifications include: patch deadlines applying only to critical vulnerabilities (not high); rules for payment page scripts split between merchants and TPSPs; MFA exemptions for accounts with phishing-resistant authentication; and clearer communication duties for service providers. The glossary was expanded, and appendix references updated. Version 4.0 retired on Dec 31, 2024, with many "future-dated" requirements still becoming mandatory on March 31, 2025.
