Is a necessary action that businesses must take in order to conform to government laws, health, and safety regulations, or data and security standards. Many businesses have a dedicated compliance department which focuses on educating employees about laws and regulations and making sure the company stays compliant in every operational area. Businesses and employees that are not in compliance risk getting into legal disputes which ultimately lead to reputational damage.
